Back in 2017, I was really into checking out the Virgo April money horoscope. I started by grabbing a popular astrology magazine that had all those horoscope predictions. I flipped through the pages until I found the part about Virgo’s money situation for April.
The horoscope said it was a good time for Virgos to make some smart money moves. So, I decided to take it seriously. First off, I sat down at my old desk and pulled out a pen and paper. I made a list of all my income sources – my part – time job at the local coffee shop and the little bit of money I got from selling some old stuff online.
Then, I started looking at my expenses. I went through my wallet and found all the receipts. I realized I was spending way too much on snacks from the vending machine at work. So, I made a plan to cut that out. I bought a bunch of granola bars from the supermarket instead, which were way cheaper.
The horoscope also mentioned that it was a good time to invest a little. I didn’t have much money to spare, but I decided to give it a shot. I went to the local bank and talked to a guy there. He explained some basic stuff about investing in the stock market. I was kind of scared at first, but I took a small amount of money – like $100 – and bought some shares of a well – known company.
I kept an eye on my investments every day. I’d log into my online account and see how the shares were doing. It was like a little game for me. And I also stuck to my plan of not buying those expensive vending machine snacks.
By the end of April 2017, something amazing happened. I checked my bank account and found that I had saved a decent amount of money from cutting out those unnecessary expenses. And my shares had actually gone up a bit! I made a small profit on my investment.
It was a really cool experience. I guess there might be something to those horoscopes after all. Maybe they’re not just a bunch of nonsense. I learned that if you take the advice from those predictions and actually do something about it, you can make a difference in your money situation. It’s like having a little guide to help you make better choices with your cash.
