Back in 2017 – 2018, I was super into exploring career opportunities as a Virgo. I started by making a list of all the things I was good at and what I really liked to do. I sat down at my old desk, grabbed a pen, and just jotted down stuff like problem – solving, being organized, and having an eye for detail.
Then, I hit the internet. I searched for jobs that matched my skills. I clicked through tons of job boards, spending hours scrolling through pages. I applied to a bunch of places, filling out forms, writing cover letters, and attaching my resume. It was like a full – time job just applying for jobs!
I got a few calls for interviews. I prepped for them like crazy. I practiced answering common questions in front of the mirror. I even made up some funny stories to tell during the interviews to break the ice. When the interview days came, I dressed up nice, took a deep breath, and headed out.

One of the interviews was at a small startup. I walked in, and the place was buzzing with energy. The people there were really friendly. During the interview, I talked about how I could help them organize their projects better. I used some real – life examples from my previous experiences. They seemed pretty impressed.
Another interview was at a big corporation. It was a whole different vibe. The office was huge and fancy. I was a bit nervous, but I tried to stay calm. I answered their questions as best as I could, showing off my knowledge and skills.
After a while, I started getting responses. I got rejected from some places, which was a bummer. But then, I got an offer from the startup. I was so excited! I accepted it right away. I started working there, and it was a wild ride. I was involved in all sorts of projects, from planning events to streamlining processes.
Looking back, those two years were full of ups and downs. I learned a lot about myself, about job hunting, and about the working world. It wasn’t always easy, but the opportunities I found were totally worth it.
