One gave numbers based on birth date + current date, another used moon phases, the last one just… spat out random digits. Wrote all three sets down.
Here’s what I did step-by-step:
- Grab a cheap notebook and a red pen (felt lucky, I guess?).
- Jot down today’s date big at the top – Thursday, June 6.
- List the three number sets side-by-side:
- Site A: 4, 17, 29
- Site B: 8, 11, 22
- Site C: 3, 9, 33
- Circle any repeats. Noticed 11 popped up twice – figured that’s gotta mean something, right?
Observing During The Day
Kept the notebook in my back pocket like a weirdo. Made a point to look at numbers everywhere: coffee receipts, street signs, license plates. Totally normal Thursday stuff.
Around 11 AM, ordering lunch, my total was $11.11. Weird. Later, stuck in traffic behind a truck with “229” spray-painted on it. Close enough to 22 and 29? Maybe. Then, coworker randomly asks me for help closing Issue #33 on Jira. Okay, that felt spooky.
Nothing life-changing happened. But I did:
- Miss my bus by 3 minutes (got #3 earlier).
- Find a crumpled $5 bill near a bus stop (#4 was one digit off).
- Get a callback for a side gig pitch… at 4:17 PM. Seriously.
End of Day Thoughts
Is it all just coincidence? Probably. But forcing myself to notice numbers all day made me weirdly alert. Felt like playing a low-stakes game. Made the usual boring Thursday kinda fun.
Tomorrow? Doing it again. Not expecting lottery wins, just seeing if patterns stick. That 11 keeps following me, man.
