How This Started
Woke up super early today ’cause Mercury retrograde crap messed up my sleep. Scrolled YouTube trying to kill time before coffee. Saw this video called Virgo Daily Tarot YouTube Top Tips for Your Sign Right Now staring right at me. Felt kinda drawn to it – thumbnail had those purple and gold cards looking fancy. Hit play without thinking much.
My Practice Setup
Grabbed my own worn-out tarot deck – been sitting on my dusty bookshelf for years. Forgot how sticky the cards felt. Pulled three cards like the video said: “Past, Present, Future”. No fancy crystal or anything, just used my chipped coffee mug as a stand. Video lady kept saying “trust your intuition” but honestly, my gut was just growling for breakfast.
- Past Card: Pulled the Wheel of Fortune upside down. Thought: “Yeah that tracks. Dropped my toast jam-side down yesterday.”
- Present Card: Got the Hermit. Laughed. Felt true ’cause I was literally alone in pajamas squinting at YouTube.
- Future Card: Three of Cups. Video lady said this meant “joyful gatherings”. Looked at my empty kitchen. Debated texting my one friend who actually texts back.
What Actually Happened
Video kept telling me to “release perfectionism” and “allow spontaneity”. So I tried. Meant to meditate for 5 mins after pulling cards. Lasted 47 seconds. My neighbor started mowing his lawn at 6am. Burned cheap incense – smelled like wet socks. Coughing fit ruined the ~vibe~.

Worst part? Video hyped up “life-changing Virgo clarity”. Got a spam call about car warranty during the future card part. Guess that’s the universe’s idea of a gathering.
End Result / Takeaways
Finished video feeling… whelmed? Notes app now says: “Hermit = rest, Three Cups = call Dave??” The actual “tip” I took? Video comments said Virgos should organize stuff today. Did organize my spice rack. Found expired paprika from 2019.
Whole thing felt like cosmic irony. But hey – at least my spices are sorted now. Would I do it again? Maybe. But only after proper coffee. And checking weather app for neighbor’s lawn schedule.
