So last weekend I was scrolling through Twitter feeling kinda blah about my job and relationships, right? Then I remembered my Virgo horoscope usually gives solid advice. Figured I’d deep dive into October predictions since Mercury retrograde’s coming.
My Research Process
First I pulled up 3 big astrology sites on my phone. Copied all the Virgo bits into my Notes app – super messy with typos because my cat kept jumping on the keyboard. Annoying AF.
Here’s what stood out consistently:
- Career stuff blowing up around Oct 11th
- Money talk with partners getting real
- Health routines needing major adjustments
- Some weird energy with coworkers mid-month
Tbh the health part stressed me out. One site said “Your nervous system will crash if you ignore warning signs” – dramatic much? But last month I did have that migraine episode after pulling 3 all-nighters…
My Game Plan
So yesterday I made actual bullet journal spreads. Drew little constellations in the margins (looked like drunk spiders but whatever).
Concrete steps I’m taking:
- Scheduled doctor checkup for Oct 3rd
- Blocked work calendar every Wednesday afternoon as “NO MEETINGS” time
- Told my boyfriend we’re doing money talks Oct 8th with actual spreadsheets
- Bought those meditation apps with yearly subscriptions (RIP my wallet)
Already messed up though – forgot Mercury retro starts Oct 25th when I scheduled a client pitch. Might reschedule that. Probably won’t stick to all this but at least I tried. Let’s see how October actually plays out.
