Starting This Project
Well it all began last Tuesday morning. I spilled coffee all over my keyboard again – third time this month. While wiping it down, I remembered my Virgo friend Sarah complaining about her messy love life. That’s when I thought, “Hey, why not look up what the stars say for Virgos in 2021?”
Research Phase Was Messy
Grabbed my old astrology books from college – dusty as hell. Started flipping through pages like a madwoman. Ended up with this mess on my floor:
- Pink highlighters everywhere ’cause I marked Venus stuff
- Post-it notes falling off every page
- My cat Mercury sitting on Mercury retrograde section
Took me two whole nights to find anything useful. Most books said basic stuff like “be patient”. Not good enough!
Crunching Planetary Data
Dusted off my telescope Wednesday night. Focused on where Mars was moving through Virgo’s house. Noticed a lot of Jupiter activity in their charts during summer. Cross-referenced like crazy:
- Compared positions at spring equinox
- Checked moon phases for August
- Almost blinded myself staring at Saturn
Realized key months were March, July and November. Those planetary shifts? Big deals for Virgo love lives.
Writing Predictions
Thursday afternoon disaster struck. Wrote 500 beautiful words before realizing I’d used Mars instead of Venus. Tossed it all. Started fresh at midnight with:
- July relationship shifts – career pressures affecting love
- November reconciliation energy
- Communication breakdown warnings
Felt like cheating when I sneaked memes into the draft. Picture of Mercury winking captioned “This planet’s trolling Virgos 2021” – totally staying in.
What Actually Happened
Emailed Sarah my draft Friday. She called back screaming: “March was when Mike and I broke up!” July? Exactly when she started couples therapy. And that November prediction? She started online dating that week. Got chills right then.
Wildest part? That cat sitting on Mercury section? Sarah’s ex’s name is Mercury. I’m buying that cat extra treats forever now.
