Man, so I got this idea, right? Like, everyone’s always checking their horoscopes, but a lot of the stuff out there feels kinda… general, you know? Like they just throw a few vague words at you. I wanted to do something different, something real and thorough for my fellow Virgos out there, especially for June 2023. I decided, screw it, I’m gonna make my own damn guide. A complete one, from scratch. That was the mission.
First off, I just started digging. I mean, where do you even begin with something like this? I hit up all sorts of places online – a bunch of astrology sites, some forums where people really get into it, even pulled out a couple of old astrology books I had lying around. My initial thought was, “How hard can this be?” Oh boy, I was wrong. The amount of info out there? It’s a jungle. Everyone’s got an opinion, different interpretations of planetary positions, and what not.
I started with the basics, just trying to figure out the major planetary movements for June. I’m talking about where Mercury, Venus, and Mars were gonna be hanging out and how that might hit Virgo folks. I remembered Mercury is our ruling planet, so any shifts with that one usually hit us extra hard. I also looked for any full moons or new moons happening in June, because those always bring some kind of energy shift, right? I just jotted everything down, almost frantically, on these big pads of paper. My desk looked like a war zone of notes and scribbles.
Then came the real tricky part: making sense of it all. One site would say “expect career advancements,” another would be like “watch out for communication breakdowns.” It was a mess. My method? I just looked for the common threads. What were the themes that kept popping up over and over again? If three different sources talked about a focus on relationships or a need for self-reflection, I figured that was probably a solid piece of advice to include. I had to filter out the really out-there predictions and focus on what felt grounded and practical.
I started breaking it down. I figured people want to know about different parts of their lives, not just one big lump sum. So, I carved out sections for:
- Love & Relationships: What’s going on with partners, friends, family.
- Career & Finances: The grind, the money, the opportunities.
- Health & Well-being: Taking care of ourselves, physically and mentally.
- Personal Growth & Spirituality: Inner stuff, looking inward.
For each section, I went through my mountain of notes. I tried to pull out the most relevant bits for Virgos specifically in June. I’d combine insights, rephrase things in a way that made sense to me – and hopefully, to other Virgos. For instance, if Mercury was doing something interesting, I’d connect it to how it might affect our communication styles or daily routines. If Venus was moving through a certain house, I’d think about what that means for our relationships or how we value things. I even looked for a few specific dates that seemed to have a lot of astrological juice, like around the New Moon or the Full Moon, and put a little extra emphasis on those.
Once I had a rough draft for each section, I started putting it all together, trying to make it flow like a real guide. I wanted it to feel like I was talking directly to another Virgo, giving them the lowdown. I wrote it all out, week by week almost, though I didn’t explicitly label it that way in the final version. Just more of a narrative arc for the month. It was like piecing together a big puzzle, making sure every piece fit and made the overall picture clearer.
After I thought I was done, I walked away from it for a day. Then I came back and read the whole damn thing, pretending I was a Virgo who knew nothing about astrology and was just looking for some insights. Did it make sense? Was it empowering? Did it cover enough? I tweaked words here and there, made some sentences simpler, added a bit more detail where I felt it was lacking. I wanted it to be something you could actually use, something that felt like a friend giving you a heads-up on what might be coming your way. It’s not about being 100% accurate, because who knows that? It’s about giving us Virgos something to think about, something to reflect on as we go through June. And honestly, I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out.
