Okay, so today I actually tried that Virgo monthly forecast thing by Susan Miller. You know, the one everyone talks about? Figured I’d give it a shot since August felt like a hot mess. Grabbed my coffee and opened her site on my phone – scrolled straight to the Virgo section.
Step 1: Finding the Key Dates
First thing I did was skim for bold dates. Susan always highlights days like “Venus enters Virgo” or “Mercury goes bonkers again.” Found a list of dates right at the top:
- August 4: Mercury Retrograde ends (thank god)
- August 12: Full moon in Aquarius
- August 20: Mars does something spicy in Gemini
- August 27: New moon in Virgo
Literally just copied these into my Notes app. No fancy apps – keeping it simple.
Step 2: Matching Dates to My Life
Now the real work started. Opened my Google Calendar and cross-referenced everything. Had that stupid team meeting on August 12 – full moon day. Susan said Aquarius full moons bring group chaos. Made sense because last time we had fireworks when Dave quit mid-call. Moved that meeting to the 10th instead. Not risking it.
Then saw Mars thing on the 20th. Susan said Gemini energy makes communication messy. Had a big client pitch that day. NOPE. Rescheduled for the 18th. Even told my boss “trust me, it’s astrologically smarter.” He rolled his eyes but agreed.
Step 3: Planning New Moon Stuff
The Virgo new moon on the 27th got me excited. Susan wrote it’s prime time for starting health routines. Perfect! Been wanting to try intermittent fasting. Marked my calendar: “Start Fast & Clean Apartment.” Virgo moons love tidiness, right? Set reminders to meal prep the day before.
How It Actually Went Down
Honestly? Shockingly useful. That meeting swap saved us – Dave didn’t quit but Steve threw his headset. Client pitch went smooth on the 18th. And on the 27th? Actually cooked veggies instead of ordering pizza. Felt like adulting on easy mode.
Only fail? Mercury Retrograde ended August 4th… forgot to backup my laptop on the 3rd. Crashed on the 5th. Susan can’t fix stupid I guess. But overall? 10/10 doing this every month now. Stars ain’t gonna boss me around, but hey – if it works, why not?
