My Weird Virgo-Taurus Dating Experiment
So last Tuesday I dug up my dusty astrology apps because my Taurus bestie kept whining about dating a Virgo. Figured I’d test all that “earth sign compatibility” crap myself.
First I grabbed my Virgo ex’s birth chart – yes, I kept it from 2018, don’t judge me – and put it next to screenshots of my buddy’s Tinder match’s profile. Made a messy comparison table in my bullet journal:

- Both hate surprises? ✅ (My Taurus friend literally cried when someone threw him a birthday party)
- Both hoard snacks? ✅ (Found 3-year-old granola bars in Virgo’s emergency go-bag)
Then I dragged my buddy to that Virgo’s favorite coffee spot – the one with exact 72°F AC and vegan pastries. Made them “accidentally” bump into each other. Total disaster at first. Virgo dude wiped the table three times before letting my Taurus friend sit. But get this – they spent two hours comparing budgeting apps. TWO HOURS.
Unexpected turn: Next day they went furniture shopping “as friends”. Sent me a photo of them measuring some dresser drawers with actual tape measures. Both looked weirdly happy.
Tried to sabotage them Thursday. Sent the Virgo guy memes during his “no screen after 9PM rule”. He replied “Please respect my routines” at 7:02 AM next morning. Meanwhile Taurus friend texted “Ugh his sock drawer system is GENIUS though”.
Big realization hit me Friday: It’s not just about both being earth signs. It’s the boring stuff! Taurus needs to feel comfy like an old sofa. Virgo craves order like a color-coded spice rack. Give ‘em clean routines + unlimited snacks = they’ll stick like fridge magnets.
Tried teasing them about being predictable. Know what they did Saturday? Stayed in mopping floors together while listening to true crime podcasts. Apparently that’s their idea of romance. Whatever works, I guess. At least my buddy stopped whining.
Final verdict? Taurus = lazy river, Virgo = canal locks. Put ’em together and water flows steady… but Lord help you if you rearrange the banks. Still dunno if they’ll last, but the cheese board compatibility is legit.
