Well, I’ve always been kinda curious about oracle cards, you know, those so – called tarot cards. One day, I just decided to take the plunge and get myself a set.
I went to a local new – age store. I walked in, looked around, and there were all these different decks of oracle cards. It was like a whole new world. I picked up a few decks, felt them in my hands, and finally chose one that just seemed to ‘click’ with me. It had these really cool and vivid pictures on the cards.
Once I got home, I sat down at my table. First thing I did was shuffle the cards. I shuffled them real good, like I was trying to mix up all the possible futures or something. Then, I decided to do a simple three – card spread. I laid out the first card, which was supposed to represent the past. It showed this old – fashioned looking person sitting alone, and I thought, ‘Huh, maybe it’s about that time I was feeling a bit lonely last month.’

The second card, for the present, was a card with a bright sun shining. I took that as a sign that things were looking up right now in my life. Maybe it was because I’d just landed a small project at work that I was excited about.
The third card, representing the future, had a picture of a road with a fork. I was like, ‘Okay, so there’s gonna be a choice coming up soon.’
I did this spread a few more times over the next few days. Each time, I’d ask a different question. Sometimes it was about my love life, other times about my career. And every time, the cards seemed to give me some sort of insight, even if it was just a little nudge in a certain direction.
As I kept using the cards, I started to notice that I was becoming more in tune with my own thoughts and feelings. Like, when I looked at a card, it wasn’t just about the picture; it made me think about what was going on inside me. It was like the cards were a mirror reflecting my subconscious.
Now, I know some people might think it’s all just a bunch of hocus – pocus. But for me, it’s been a fun and interesting way to explore myself and get a different perspective on life. Whether it’s real magic or just a psychological tool, I’m gonna keep using these oracle cards and see where they take me.
