Well, I’ve always been kinda curious about tarot cards. And the Death Lovers Tarot, that name just caught my eye. So, I decided to give it a shot and see what it could tell me.
Getting the Tarot Deck
I went to a local new – age shop. Wandered around a bit, looking at all the different tarot decks. Finally, I spotted the Death Lovers Tarot. I picked it up, felt the weight of it in my hands. It had this kinda mysterious vibe. I paid for it and took it home.

Preparing for the Reading
When I got home, I found a quiet corner in my living room. I cleared the coffee table, put a nice cloth on it. Then I took the tarot deck out of the box. I shuffled the cards. At first, it was a bit clumsy, but then I got the hang of it. I shuffled and shuffled, thinking about the questions I wanted to ask.
The Reading Process
I decided to do a simple three – card spread. I laid the first card face – down, then the second, and then the third. I took a deep breath and flipped the first card. It was a bit hard to make out at first, but as I stared at it, the symbols and images started to make sense. I tried to connect them to my life. The second card was even more interesting. It seemed to give a different perspective on what the first card was saying. And the third card, well, it was like a conclusion or a hint about the future.
Interpretation
I didn’t have a fancy guidebook at first. So, I just used my gut feeling. I thought about how the cards related to my current relationships, my work, and my general state of mind. It was like a puzzle, trying to fit all the pieces together. Later, I looked up some online resources to see if my interpretations were on the right track. Some of them matched, some were a bit off, but it was still really fun to figure it out.
Reflection
After the reading, I sat back and thought about what the cards had shown me. It made me think about my choices and the direction I was going in. It wasn’t like it gave me a definite answer, but it was more like a nudge in a certain direction. It’s not something I’d rely on completely, but it was a really cool experience. And I’m definitely gonna do more readings with this deck in the future.
