I’ve always been curious about tarot cards, so I decided to find out which tarot suits and elements are the most important. I started by getting myself a deck of tarot cards. I remember it was a sunny afternoon when I went to a small, cozy new – age shop and picked up a well – recommended deck.
Once I got home, I sat down at my table and began to shuffle the cards. It felt a bit strange at first, like I was handling something with a lot of mystery. I shuffled them over and over again, trying to get a feel for them.
Then, I started to read up on the basic meanings of the four tarot suits: Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. I learned that Wands are associated with fire, representing energy, creativity, and action. Cups are linked to water, symbolizing emotions, relationships, and intuition. Swords are related to air, standing for thoughts, communication, and intellect. Pentacles are connected to earth, signifying material possessions, stability, and practicality.
I decided to do some experiments. I’d draw a card from each suit every day and record how the energy of that suit seemed to play out in my day. For example, when I drew a Wands card, I noticed I was more energetic, coming up with new ideas at work. When it was a Cups card, I found myself being more in tune with my feelings and having deeper conversations with friends.
I also reached out to some tarot experts. One of them told me that in a long – term reading, the element of earth (Pentacles) is often crucial because it represents the foundation of our lives. Another expert said that in a reading about immediate emotions, the water element (Cups) takes the lead.
As I kept doing these daily draws and talking to experts, I started to see patterns. It seemed that in times of change, the fire element (Wands) was very prominent as it gave me the push to move forward. During periods of self – reflection, the air element (Swords) helped me analyze my thoughts.
After months of this practice, I’ve come to the conclusion that no single tarot suit or element is the most important. It really depends on the situation. Just like in life, we need a balance of energy, emotions, thoughts, and practicality. Each suit and element has its time to shine, and understanding their interplay is the key to getting the most out of tarot readings.
